People have been asking for larger, thicker pieces of pyrolytic graphite. Here they are!
Each piece is roughly 3 millimeters thick (thickness varies a little), and 50 millimeters square. Great for the suspended magnet project as a replacement for bismuth, and real fun to cut ice cubes with (it is an extremely good thermal conductor -- better than copper by far).
This makes a good sample for Carbon
in your collection of samples for the Periodic Table
of the Elements.
